Privacy Policy
Last updated June 6, 2026
HeyPomo is built to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app stores, where it stores it, and the limited analytics we collect.
What HeyPomo stores
Your tasks, timer settings (focus, break, and long-break lengths and the number of sessions per round), theme choice, and sound and timer-ring preferences are saved locally in your browser using its built-in storage (localStorage). This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, it is not tied to an account, and we never see it.
Because it lives in your browser, this data persists across visits until you clear it. Clearing your browser's site data for HeyPomo, or using a private/incognito window, removes it. HeyPomo has no server-side database and no user accounts.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage such as how many people visit and which pages load. Umami is cookieless and does not collect personally identifying information or build advertising profiles. We use these aggregate counts only to improve the app.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not require you to sign in. HeyPomo sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third-party hosting
The app is served over the web by our hosting provider, which may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.
Children
HeyPomo is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of HeyPomo after a change means you accept the revised policy.
