I used to blame my lack of discipline for it, now I blame the the strength of the distractions.

I used to hide my phone in a box and I use SelfControl to block half the internet (here's my blocklist).


I've done that for 3 years. It's 95% effective. It's just a hassle to use.


It needed to be simpeler. I've tried a billion options and build tons of weird prototypes.


That's when Pomo was born.


It's a lovechild between the timeboxing techniques and a website blocker.


Where you, as a human, are in control.


As if the internet was your pet dog. He can bark, he can be quirky, he can drain your attention, but it's nice when it's on your terms.
